Andrea- Landscape painting

Exhibiting artist Andrea Bruno will work with students to create mixed media landscape artworks. Bring along a photo of a landscape of your choice to be inspired by!

Wednesday 20 January

Sophie Honess- Weaving with wool

Join our new tutor Sophie as she guides you through the art of weaving with wool. Try your hand at weaving on a DIY loom, and learn techniques you can use at home to create your very own amazing and colourful wall hanging. Sophie’s wall hangings have been exhibited in Tamworth and beyond and are beautiful and vibrant.

Thursday 21 January

Emma Stilts- Watercolour painting

Join Emma as she show you tips and tricks to deepen your understanding of watercolour painting. You will use specialist art materials including watercolour paper and artist quality paints to make your very own work of art.

Art workshop with exhibiting artist Ellen Howell-  Block Printing Textiles  BOOK ELLEN's WORKSHOP HERE

This workshop will provide students with the opportunity to work closely with exhibiting artist Ellen Howell as she guides you through the art of block printing onto a fabric carry bag to make a stunning, colourful, unique design. Ellen's works are bold and delicate and innovative in her art practice and design. All materials will be included in the enrolment fee.

We are committed to our COVID safe plan at Tamworth Regional Gallery to keep our visitors safe. This includes strict social distancing protocols, students not sharing equipment and remaining seated/ in the work space throughout the duration of the workshop, no eating or drinking in the Studio (except water), and signing in proceedures.
