YOUNG ARCHIE 2024

UNE TAMWORTH in Fitzroy Street

Take a self-guided tour of the Young Archie 2024 Tamworth exhibition, showcasing the entries in our Young Archie 2024 exhibition. An extension of the Archibald Prize 2023 On Tour exhibition, presented by Art Gallery of NSW.

The exhibition is held downstairs in Peel House, 23 Fitzroy St (next to Town Hall) by our event sponsor UNE.

Over 120 entries are on display as well as winners and highly commended for each category. 

There are four age categories: 5–8 years, 9–12 years, 13–15 years and 16–18 years.

On Saturday 8 June - the Young Archie exhibition will host a Family Funday. 

Come along for family friendly creative activities, and view the amazing works from Young Archie Tamworth.

Free family friendly activities like drawing, chalk art and face-painting plus an opportunity for our Young Archie entrants to get a photo with the people most important to them.

Free portraits
Led by Antony Hands from Chasing Summer Photography, the UNE will host a photo studio allowing participants to get photo with their portrait subject. A free high quality download of the professional portrait will be available to download.
