Artist Talk and Mother's Day Brunch with Sybil Orr

Celebrate your Mum with a delightful morning of artful conversation. Please join us in Gallery 1 for brunch with leading regional artist Sybil Orr, who will discuss her latest work on display within the exhibition – Exploration of Line.

Sybil Orr is a fibre textile artist who lives and works in Tamworth, with an artistic career spanning decades. Her works reside in public and private collections around Australia and internationally, and Tamworth Regional Gallery is proud to present this special collection of works. This event will include a catered brunch including tea, coffee and pastries.

Exploration of Line, features three fibre artists, Sophie Honess, Sybil Orr and Tania Hartigan, who explore the concept of 'line' using a variety of materials, techniques and formats. The exhibition will be on display 2 May - 28 June 2026
