This workshop will occur at the Tamworth Look Out 

Coinciding with his group exhibition Old Land, New Visions, we are delighted to present an en plein air workshop with Rowen Matthews.

Ideal for both beginner and experienced artists, this half-day workshop offers participants the opportunity to explore Rowen’s distinctive painterly style and creative approach to landscape painting.

Set at Tamworth’s iconic Oxley Lookout, participants will gain unique insight into Rowen’s palette-knife based painting process. Rowen will demonstrate his techniques and encourage attendees to develop their own sense of place through the use of paint, brushes, and palette knives.

All materials will be provided, including acrylic paints, brushes, palette knives, stretched canvases, and high-quality heavyweight painting paper. Participants will leave with new skills, creative inspiration, and their own finished artworks.
