Festival of Dangerous Ideas: LIVE STREAM
Saturday 22nd August 10am- 1.30pm
Australia's most through-provoking festival comes to Tamworth. Live streamed, free, followed by a facilitated conversation. Hatred. Belonging. Nationhood. Conspiracy. Morality. Faith. Evil. Pluralism.
The Festival of Dangerous Ideas (FODI) is a global cultural event that encourages debate and critical thinking.
Co-founded by The Ethics Centre and the Sydney Opera House in 2009, the festival aims to bring leading thinkers and culture creators from around Australia and the world to discuss and debate important issues.
The 2026 festival will expand its reach to 10 days, with events extending across major cultural institutions citywide, including the State Library of NSW and the University of NSW. The festival's theme for 2026 is 'Revelation', focusing on the biggest questions facing the world today.
For Tamworth, two sessions will be live steamed into the Tamworth Regional Gallery.
