Join us the opening of two amazing new exhibitions, JamFactory ICON Aunty Ellen Trevorrow: Weaving Through Time and Walaaybaa (Home) Program

The Walaaybaa (HOME) Program exhibition has been developed in Kamilaroi / Gomeroi Country with Students from five local primary schools. 

Walaaybaa (HOME) is developed by the Gamilaroi community at Tamworth and Tamworth Regional Gallery working with NSW Department of Education’s Arts Unit and the Art Gallery of New South Wales as part of the program Home: Aboriginal art from New South Wales.

Schools exhibiting include:

• Nundle Public School
• Tamworth South Public School

JamFactory’s ICON series celebrates the achievements of South Australia’s most influential visual artists working in craft-based media. JamFactory is thrilled to present this significant body of work by proud Ngarrindjeri weaver Aunty Ellen Trevorrow. Weaving Through Time is a major touring exhibition celebrating Aunty Ellen’s unwavering dedication to culture, community and innovation in contemporary Ngarrindjeri weaving.

As well as being an accomplished and widely exhibited artist, Aunty Ellen is a keen teacher.
