Join local Gomeroi Yinarr fibre artist Sophie Honess for a hands-on punch needle rug workshop inspired by the Exploration of Line exhibition at Tamworth Regional Gallery.

Learn the punch needle technique to create your own textured, colourful textile artwork. Explore line, colour and form while experimenting with wool and design – perfect for bringing creative ideas to life.

This free workshop is open to textile and visual arts students. Spaces are limited, please contact the Gallery to register your interest.

Age: Open to secondary textile / visual arts students. Places limited.

Cost: FREE to attend, all materials provided. Please register your interest to be involved. Successful participants will be contacted by 25 May 2026.

The Tamworth Regional Gallery offers free and accessible parking - located behind the building, accessed via Peel or Hill St.
