Colourful Paper Sculpture with Sophie Honess
Tuesday, 13th of January

Paper sculpture is a beautiful and unique art form that combines the best of both worlds, the delicate intricacy of paper crafts with the dimensional intrigue of sculpture. Led by local Gamilaroi artist Sophie Honess, paper sculpture is an easy and fun artform to explore, teaching a new set of skills and techniques to students of all ages.

Kinetic Cardboard Sculpture with Emma Stilts
Wednesday, 14th of January

Be inspired by the current exhibition Three Chords and the Truth and join us for a sculpture workshop where you’ll learn about artist processes, materials and techniques. Creating a three-dimensional form inspired by the kinetic sculptures of exhibiting artist Rod Nash and his work 'What's Up Skip', participants will use cardboard and paper to construct forms and experiment with making moving sculptures.

Ceramic Sculpture Stack with Sasha Jury Radford
Thursday, 15th of January

Join exhibiting artist and Tamworth-based ceramicist Sasha Jury-Radford for this creative workshop exploring the use of clay in the development of creative ceramic stack sculpture. Exploring abstract shapes, colours and textures, participants will create their very own stacked sculpture inspired by the current exhibition Nirvana: A Pilgrimage and their own interests. With access to studio art equipment not usually found at home, each participant will be able to take home their creation in the week following the workshop as it will require firing.
