Coming together from various musical backgrounds, the members of The Peel River Ramblers perform a mix of fast picking bluegrass tunes and soulful ballads.

Mo McMorrow - Thursday, 22 January, 2pm - 3pm

Mo McMorrow, Canadian/Australian singer-songwriter has a nuanced brand of Irish-Americana influenced by decade long residencies in Galway, Ireland and Austin, Texas respectively. She recently returned to Australia after 24 years away. Performing at festivals including Neurum Creek, Guyra, Maleny Music Festival, Australian Celtic Festival, Woodford, and Airlie Beach Festival of Music, her music has been described as "a barn-burner of funk/pop tunes, with wicked-clever lyrics".

Now utilising a loop pedal in her performances to create soundscapes as a canvas for song and spoken word, Mo will offer a songwriting workshop/demonstration as part of her performance at the Gallery. Guiding participants through the fun of recording live percussion and vocals on a loop pedal, collectively participants will create a soundscape canvas and write an accompanying song together. No experience necessary! Mo says, "if you can speak, you can write a song".

 Melinda Schneider - Friday, 23 January, 2pm - 3pm

Officially opening her exhibition Tender, Melinda Schneider will perform three-songs from her recently released album with the same name. To accompany the album, she has created 12 abstract art paintings, to express her feelings and the meaning of each song.

As a naturally creative soul, Melinda discovered that visual art provided her with another powerful medium, much like singing and songwriting, to express herself and explore freedom through artistic expression.

There will be a meet-and-greet after her performance.

Anthony Snape - Saturday, 24 January, 2pm - 3pm

Anthony Snape, an acclaimed Aussie singer-songwriter and former Nashvillian, co-wrote a Number 1 album with Tommy Emmanuel and toured extensively in the US and Australia. Anthony has collaborated with esteemed producers Lindsay Rimes and Matt Fell, contributing to his distinguished musical journey. He has also shared stages with Australian music icons including Marcia Hines, Ian Moss, and Rick Price, showcasing his versatility and talent in the music industry.
