Ceramic Sculpture Workshop with Sasha Jury Radford

To celebrate the opening of Nirvana: A Pilgrimage, join exhibiting artist and ceramicist Sasha Jury Radford for an all-day ceramics workshop in the Esther Halliday Studio. A hands-on workshop, participants will create a 3-to-5-piece ceramic sculpture inspired by their own interests or the natural world. With a general creative focus, participants will explore the use of clay, abstract shapes and textures to create their own sculpture, perfect for display in the home or garden. With access to studio art equipment not usually found at home, each participant will be able to take home their creation after firing.

Finished sculptures will be placed in the kiln for a bisque firing at the conclusion of the workshop and will be ready to pick up before Christmas. Sculptures can then be painted or left raw, depending on the desire of the artist.

Time: 10am - 3:30pm, lunch break included.

Age: 14 and above, no previous experience required. Beginner friendly.
Price: $60, all materials provided.
