Join Gallery Staff and Friends in our FREE visible Mending Workshop.
Join us for one of two Visible Mending Workshops inspired by the Japanese repair technique, Shashiko.
Hosted by local Toni Honess, you’ll learn the art of turning rips, tears or stains in your favourite piece of clothing into a beautiful piece of wearable art and there are no machines required! This is hand craft focused.
Please note the workshops are free to attend, but bookings are essential as places are limited.
These workshops are proudly brought to you by Tamworth Regional Gallery and Tamworth Regional Council’s Sustainability Team.
If you want to see some of Toni’s art - call into local non-for-profit, vintage and secondhand store Talking Threads 529 Peel St, Tamworth NSW 2340
