Visible Mending Workshop
Sunday, 6 September, 11am - 1pm
This workshop will occur on a fortnightly basis, however there will be no session on 20 September

Proudly brought to you by the Tamworth Regional Gallery and Tamworth Regional Council's Sustainability Team, join Gallery Staff and Friends for a creative Sunday at the Gallery. Inspired by the Japanese repair techniques, Shashiko and Boro, and slow stitch Kantha, a mediative traditional Indian embroidery technique you will learn the art of turning rips, tears or stains in your favourite piece of clothing into a beautiful piece of wearable art. Completely hand craft focused, there are no machines required.
When: Sunday, 6 September, 11am - 1pm - then 4 October
Age: Open to all ages. Children need to be supervised.
Cost: FREE to attend, all materials provided. Bookings not required, but please bring along an item of clothing or textile to work on.
