Join local artist and art educator Emily Redman as we take a step back in time and look at the origins of animation, inspired by the exhibition ‘Two Girls from Amoonguna’.
Participants will spend time within the Gallery Space, guided through the exhibition by Emily before entering the studio space to design and construct their own ‘flipbook’, a type of animation that uses a series of static images to create the illusion of movement.
Drawing on a range of subject matter, participants will create their own artist book, a practice employed by many professional artists.
