Yaama Guduu, Greetings Murray Cod

Anniversary celebration, Wednesday 15 November at 11am

Join us as we celebrate the anniversary of Yaama Guduu, Greetings Murray Cod. This event marks one year since our community enjoyed the shared experience of creating a giant 1.8m Murray Cod from old farm materials, textile waste, and a donated doily collection. This process was led by Ghostnets artist sue Ryan, as part of the Bushlines exhibition. Over the summer months, many artists, students and volunteers contributed towards the making of our giant Guduu.

This sculpture has been hung in the Tamworth City library and is visable from the gallery foyer.

This special anniversary offers an opportunity to reflect on the making of Guduu, celebrate our achievement.

All welcome to come together to celebrate this event and the communities, artists and stories that make
Yaama Guduu such a powerful and enduring cultural object
