Join us for the twin official opening event for two outstanding exhibitions. As we officially welcome the work of Anna Louise Richardson in The Good and the work of 23 regional artists in Overhead and Underneath to the Gallery.

Curated by Rachel Arndt & Dr Lee-Anne Hall, The Good is a major new solo exhibition by artist Anna Louise Richardson whose practice is centered around rural life, embedded in the experience and drama of everyday reality. Working primarily in charcoal and graphite, Richardson’s work explores ideas of intergenerational exchange, parenthood and identity based on her experiences of living and working on a multi-generation beef cattle farm in rural Australia.

Whilst Overhead and Underneath allows its audience to center themselves through the notion of 'looking overhead or underneath their feet'. Using the artists response to naturalistic observations and artistic skill exchange and discussion between 23 regional artists from both the South and Northwest of the State.

Local Bluegrass band The Peel River Ramblers will perform on the night to official open both exhibitions.
