50 to 100 - Many Years in the Making

Free Guided Tour with Gallery Staff

Wednesday 11am | Saturday 11am | Sunday 2pm

Join us for a free guided tour with Gallery Staff to explore the exhibition 50 to 100 - Many Years in the Making, as we delve into aspects of the Gallerys collection. An exhibition which celebrates 50 years of Tamworth's textile exhibitions and over 100 years of the Gallery's collection, this is an opportunity to accompany Gallery Staff as they explain the meaning, significance and stories behind both the exhibition and the collection.

Providing insight into the artistic practices and works of female artists within the Gallery collection, this exhibition is inspired by the National Gallery of Australia’s national program Know My Name, as 50 to 100 brings works by women artists in our collection to the fore, as part of the Gallery’s commitment to gender equality, correcting the historical disparity in research, representation, and recognition of women in the arts.
