Join master storyteller and Yamitji, Widi and Wongi man Mark Atkins as he performs at the Tamworth Regional Gallery to officially open the Gallery’s suite of performances for the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

One of Australia’s finest and most prominent didgeridoo players, Mark is recognised internationally for his collaborative projects with some of the world's leading composers and musicians, including the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Led Zeppelin, Sinead O'Connor and Philip Glass. With Mark sharing his own stories about his country, land and people through polyphonic melodies of astonishing rhythm.

Whilst he has performed internationally, Mark most recently performed atop the Sydney Opera House in 2023.
