Tuesday 11 January - Poetry and Pictures Workshop with Arushi Nayor

This fun-filled workshop will inspire children to use their imagination and express it through words and visuals.

The workshop will start with an introduction to poetry, and all participants will be encouraged and guided on how to write their own poems. After that, they will have a chance to illustrate their poem using techniques like drawing and collage. It will take the participants on a journey of inspiration and inventiveness. No prior experience with drawing or poetry required.

Led by Arushi Nayar, a multidisciplinary artist working with painting, performance art, film and video, writing, photography, and music. She has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from National Art School, Sydney, and a bachelor’s degree in mass media and mass communication from Delhi University.
